Travel is an exciting journey that often begins with strategic planning: mapping out your flights, booking accommodations, securing your tours. Don’t miss out on the crucial step of packing the perfect carry-on! We list down some carry-on essentials to make that flight more comfortable for you:

Photocopies of your passport

Keeping extra copies of your passport is for the worst case scenario of you losing your passport. You can keep one in your wallet and another in your luggage.

Antibacterial Wipes

Airports and airplanes are breeding grounds for germs – protect yourself from picking up some random virus on your way to that vacation.

Lightweight scarf

Bundle up if it’s freezing on the plane, then take it off when you land in your hot summer destination.

Disposable toothbrush

wisp

A disposable toothbrush, like Colgate’s Wisp, is an inexpensive and convenient way of having both your toothbrush and toothpaste in one small item. You don’t even need to use water for you to freshen up!

Refillable water bottle

That bottled water you bought before you went through security won’t be allowed on board, but that refillable water bottle will do. It will not only save you some money, you’ll also get to do your small bit in saving the environment.

Snacks

Save up on airport or flight food by bringing light snacks with you. Go for healthy but filling snacks such as nuts, power bars, and homemade sandwiches.

Eye Mask

Get that decent shut-eye, whether you’re aboard a flight or in your hotel room. The better your sleep is, the more energy you’ll have to explore and enjoy your destination.

Pain relievers

Pain relievers, whether in the form of oral medicine or topical ointment, can be a lifesaver should you find yourself dealing with migraines, insect bites or even your sore feet from all that walking.

Cash

Make sure you have at least a few USDs (considered to be a global currency) and if possible, some local currency bills of your destination. ATMs at the airport might not be easily available, while airport money changers often charge huge fees on top of the going currency rate.
