Are you one of the many wishing for a less crowded travel route? We’ve got under-the-radar recommendations worth looking in, the three proud countries of the Baltic:

Lithuania

Best known for the Curonian Spit, Lithuania offers a lot of options for the discerning traveler. You will never run out of activities to do with its white sand beaches, pine forests, sand dunes and traditional villages. Check out the Hill of Crosses, Grutas Park and Trakai Castle for something strange but uniquely Lithuanian.

Latvia

Its capital, Riga, held the title of European Culture Capital in 2014, so take advantage of all the sightseeing opportunities. A leisure walk around the Old Quarter will help you get a sense of the city, while also introducing you to the impressive architecture of Riga Cathedral and St. Peter’s Church. Hoping to get out of the city? Visit the nearby areas of Jeglava, Cesis or Liepaja for charming old castles, breathtaking natural spots and beach side panoramas.

Estonia
Estonia
The sea and the land make a great combo in Estonia’s beach side haunts and natural parks. With over 1,500 islands and beautiful coastline towns, the country offers rustic vacations like no other. Visit Parnu for its renowned spas and beaches, Matsalu for its rich wildlife or Hiiumaa for its historical lighthouses. And don’t miss out on Saaremaa‘s medieval castle, Tallinn‘s heritage spots and Kihnu‘s cultural celebrations!
