Mila Ong Enjoys the Beauty of Batanes
- November 13, 2019
Travelling has been my passion since I was young. When I was still working in the Philippines (PNB Escolta), my work also allowed me to travel all over the Philippines in the early 80’s.
I am still in awe with the beauty of Batanes and may come back in the future. Accommodation was just right and proximity to the town property. Travel to and from Batanes was on time. Tour guides were very accommodating and gracefully patience with our requests. Food was fine.
One thing I won’t forget is the view of the rolling greens and the horizon from the top of the mountain.
To spend more time on some of the scenic spots that I visited and enjoy nature and the breathtaking views at my own pace.
Yes of course. I have posted pictures of the places we visited during our stay in Batanes and received a lot of positive comments from friends of their intentions and dreams of visiting Batanes someday. I believe I also hashtagged #accesstravelph on those post I created in FB.
To see the world, especially for those who are already retired (and can afford to travel) or who have kids who are willing to fund their parents travel. This is also a gesture of their gratitude for what they have become and for all the blessings that they are now enjoying in life. Parents no longer need material things but attention and pampering from their successful and financially well-off children.
Enjoy those real-time moments of where you are before taking pictures. Enjoy viewing the places visited in the present time instead of taking pictures of those places as soon as you get there… You travelled to those places to see them and not just to take selfie pictures to share with friends.
I have been following different travel Instragram accounts. Since my destination was within the Philippines, I chose Access Travel for my tour with my cousin to Batanes.
Encourage foreign-based children of seniors based in the Philippines to gift their parents with ‘all-inclusive tours’ within or outside of the country, instead of just sending them money (and eventually end in the hands of family members living in the Philippines).
There’s a lot more on my bucket list! Probably south of the Philippines by end of 2019 or early 2020.
