Why did you choose Access Travel and Tours?
I chose Access Travel for our family trip because I’ve already experienced their service and I was very satisfied with it so I knew that they would be the perfect choice for a special trip with my huge family! We’re a family of 9 so we really need all the assistance we can get!
What made you decide to take a trip to Japan? What were the things you considered in picking this destination for your family holiday?
We chose Japan because we wanted somewhere cold for the holidays. We really love everything about Tokyo! The sights and food are just amazing! Plus, the Japanese people are very warm and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!
Can you share with us some of your travel tips from your Japan trip?
Make sure to bring appropriate clothing when travelling. It was very cold so bringing thermals was a good idea. Take lots of photos for memories!
Please share with us some of your recommendations when in Japan, such as sights or tourist attractions, must-do activities, restaurants or dishes to try, where to go shopping, etc.
We love these revolving sushi restaurants called “Tenka Sushi” and “Sushi Daidokoya” in Shibuya. Order their kani salad sushi and fatty tuna sushi! So good! Ichiran Ramen is another favorite of ours; they have branches in Shibuya and Shinjuku. For Japanese fashion, make sure to visit GU in Ginza or Shinjuku! For souvenirs, Village Vanguard and Don Quijote will surely have everything you need. If you’re with a big group, we recommend going to Big Echo karaoke for a night of singing and dancing! So much fun!!!
What were your favorite experiences or moments from your family trip to Japan?
Definitely our karaoke night! We’re a family who loves music so that was really fun. Walking around and visiting the different shops of Harajuku was also a fun experience!
What are your travel essentials?
My camera, travel wallet (which is smaller than my usual wallet so it’s easier to carry around), shades, makeup and powerbank!
What’s next on your travel bucket list?
Next on my travel bucket list are Bali, Indonesia; Sydney, Australia; and hopefully Europe soon! I just want to keep travelling! 🙂
