The holidays are just around the corner and with it comes vacations with family or friends. Packing might be the last thing on your mind, but fret not, we’re here to help you! Make sure you pack these essentials for your merry-making vacation here or aboard:
Copies of travel documents
Have a back-up of your passport and other travel documents either in print or in your email. Should the worst happen, you will still have access to these important files and it will be one less thing to get stressed over.
A mini first aid kit
This can contain a few of your health essentials such as your vitamins or necessary medications, plus other items that might come in handy during your trip such as paracetamol, wet wipes, band-aids and bug or mosquito repellant.
A multi travel adapter will ensure you can charge your devices no matter where you are in the world. Now that’s convenient and practical!
These are multifunctional and versatile but often get left behind at home. Bring a few in your luggage for when you need to pack toiletries or even snacks. It also comes in handy when you’re spending your last vacation day by the beach and you need to bring home a wet swimsuit!
A scarf or a light cardigan / jacket
Even if you’re heading to somewhere warm, having a cover-up is still a wise decision. Case in point: if you’re wearing something sleeveless and you’re exploring Bangkok’s temples and palaces, you will need to cover your shoulders to gain entry. In transit? It can get chilly on the plane or in buses. Having a scarf or a light cardigan or jacket will help you stay warm.
Refillable water bottle
It’s important to stay hydrated while traveling, so make sure you have a refillable bottle or tumbler with you. Take advantage of the drinking stations in airports or hotels – this will not only help you save money, you’re also doing your part in saving the environment.
