Arrive to Istanbul Airport and meet the guide. Transfer to your Istanbul hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to port and ride a ferry across Marmara Sea and transfer to Canakkale. After lunch, visit Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Greek heroes attacked Troy for the honor of the beautiful Helen. Visit its legendary walls, building, and the famous wooden horse. Stay overnight.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pergamom, a city on Turkey’s Aegean coast. Visit Asklepion built in honor of Asklepios, the god of healing. Transfer to Kusadasi for overnight.
Drive to Ephesus, the most impressive archeological site in Turkey. It was the center of worship for the Greek goddess, Artemis. See the House of Mary, The Library of Celsus, The Temple of Hadrian and a large theatre. It is where the Apostle John Paul was swept into a riot in Acts 19: 21-41. It has been said that Apostle John came to live near the town of Selçuk where the Church of St. John is. Lunch will be served in Selcuk. Continue to Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), which is famous for its natural hot springs. Stay overnight.
Wake up early for a bus drive to see the untouched beauties of the country, villagers working in their farms, fertile plains, and the cultural diversity among the cities. Stop at Konya to see the Mevlana Museum, which sheltered the tomb of Rumî or Mevlana, a Muslim poet and mystic. Depart for Cappadocia and en route to visit the Caravanserai of Sultanhan. Arrive at Cappadocia for dinner and overnight.
Before breakfast, you may consider the possibility of riding a hot air balloon. After breakfast at the hotel, visit the underground city of Kaymakli or Ozkanak, once a place for 15,000 Chrisian refugees. Next, do not miss the rare opportunity to experience the beauty and work of local handmade crafts throughout a Turkish carpet weaving course. After, visit the frescoed rock churches and chapels at Goreme Open-Air Museum to explore the dwellings and remains of the early church. Stop for photo at Uchisar “castle” village. Then proceed to the local cave house and Avanos Pottery Village set on the banks of the Kizilimak or the Red River.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and depart to Ankara, the capital of Turkey. On the way, visit the Salt Lake and in Ankara the Ataturk Mausoleum - the final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Father of Modern Turkey. Lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to Istanbul for dinner and stay overnight.
Visit the Royal Topkapi Palace, home of the Ottoman Sutlans, the Blue Mosque, unique with six minarets, also comprises a tomb of the found, a madrasah, and a hospice. See the Roman Hippodrome Square and the St. Sophia Church, which is considered one of the world's greatest architectural marvels. Enjoy a cruise on the Bosphrus Strait. Then visit the Grand Covered Bazaar with over 4,000 tiny shops. Stay overnight.
After breakfast, free time until transfer to the airport.
