Depart Manila. Enjoy in-flight amenities, meals, and entertainment on board.
Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel to meet the guide and fellow travelers. By evening, transfer to the Egyptian Debod Temple, Plaza de España, and Gran Via, where you can dine at your preferred restaurant; Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern are some of the choices.
Start the morning with a tour through the center of Madrid, including the Paseo del Prado, CIbeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcala, Plaza de Colon, and Plaza Mayor. Visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the middle of the city, and see the lake and the Glass Palace. Visit the Las Ventas Bullring (admission included) and learn about the tradition of the corridas at the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure. At sunset, transfer to the Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Place and enjoy a pleasant dinner of your choice. At the end of the evening, return to the hotel together.
Leave Madrid early in the morning. Travel south across La Mancha, stop in Puerto Lapice, a manchego village evoking the figure of Don Quixote. Enter Andalusia via Despeñaperros and arrive in Granada. Lunch included. In the afternoon, if you bought the trip with the entrance included, visit with a local guide the immense Alhambra Palace and its beautiful Generalife gardens. By evening, visit the Albaicin district, a World Heritage site along with the Alhambra and enjoy dinner. Tonight, you have the option to attend a flamenco dance show and the traditional neighborhood of Sacromonte.
Depart from Granada and travel to Costa del Sol to arrive in Malaga. Explore its historic city center, cathedral, and the Picasso Museum. Continue along the coastal motorway to see the Mediterranean. Stop by Puerto Banus, Marbella, a pretty resort known as the playground of Europe’s rich and famous. In the afternoon, continue through the hills to reach Ronda, a very beautiful “white town”. Then, travel to Seville.
After breakfast, a guide will take you to the scenic Seville to see the Cathedral and its famous Giralda, the banks of Guadalquivir, Santa Cruz, Triana, and the beautiful Plaza de España. After, take a boat trip along the river of Guadalquivir and right after enjoy exploring at your own leisure. By the end of the afternoon, go to the historic Calle Alfonso XII, where you can choose from different restaurants to dine in.
Leave Seville early in the morning to transfer via a high-speed train to Zaragoza. Join the group and have free time to visit the Pilar Basilica and enjoy the city center. Continue to the Monastery of Poblet, one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world. Proceed to the Monastery of Montserrat and go up the mountain on a rack train to see its fantastic scenery. Late in the afternoon, arrive in Barcelona.
Today, explore Barcelona. Start with an informative tour with a local guide. Visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neighborhood dating back to the Middle Ages. Visit where the Olympic games took place. See La Sagrada Familia Basilica, the masterpiece of Antoni Gaudi. Enter “Poble Espanyol”, an open-air architectural museum situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Enjoy Spanish craftsmanship and discover architectural styles, traditions, and folklore. Have some time to explore the city at your own leisure. In the evening, transfer to Las Ramblas and the Plaza Catalunya for dinner, where again you can choose from a wide variety of restaurants. Return to the hotel in the late evening.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Rest of the day is free until transfer to the airport.
