Coleen and Billy Gets Their Dose of Bali’s Island Vibes
- November 13, 2019
I travel not only to take a breather and get away from the busyness of life, but to have a change of scene; to explore different places, immerse myself in different cultures, indulge in local food, be absorbed by natural wonders, and see things from a fresh perspective. Every time I get home from a trip, something always changes in me, and no matter how much more tired I get, I come home less drained and more recharged emotionally.
Our first ever trip to Bali was so enjoyable that we were already planning when to come back while we were still there! The food was amazing, as were the sites, and our hotel was great. We had our own villa with a pool, right by the rice field. The staff was so hospitable, helpful and accommodating. It was such a pleasure to explore Bali, and I would do it again and again!
Apart from the food that I am still drooling over today, I just love how fun and easy it was to get around via scooter! I loved the whole island vibe, too.
More of the food! Also, we only got to go around two parts of Bali: Ubud and Seminyak. There are still many other places we want to explore, and so many sites we want to see.
I loved the simplicity of Bali, and I also love their holistic approach to health and wellness. I love that there is so much emphasis on that, from the food to the lifestyle.
I believe that traveling and exploring is one way to open your mind and learn how to understand and accept all kinds of people around you. Our way of living here is different, much like every other place, and, though it is beautiful and unique in its own way, it would be such a shame if this is all we came to know. Life goes beyond our own backyard, and the world is so vast. You would be so surprised with what you could learn and take home from every new place you visit.
It’s good to have a list for essentials, so that packing would be easier and quicker. ALWAYS have room for shopping if you’re the type to come home with more items than you left with, especially if you don’t want to pay for excess baggage. We sometimes keep an extra duffel bag in our luggage or bring extra carry-on trolleys, so that we can hand-carry whatever excess there is.
I’ve been traveling with Access ever since my husband and I first started dating, and we’ve always been happy with their service!
Italy! Not just Rome. I would love to spend a good amount of time exploring all the beautiful small towns as well. I also dream of exploring South America, the Caribbean and Bahamas, more of the United States, and many other places!
