Why do you travel?
I travel to experience different cultures. It liberates not just my mind but also my soul.
What did you love the most about the trip?
I love the new friends I made during the trip. It was my first time to join a group tour, and I never thought that traveling with strangers would be that fun. Also, how can I forget, the FOOD! I didn’t have to worry what my next meal would be and if it’s gonna be delicious, cause every meal was superb.
What is the one thing you won’t forget?
I won’t forget about the feeling of wonder while traveling, the feeling of seeing new places and experiencing new things. Also, the happiness I saw in my mother’s eyes.
What will you come back for in this trip?
I’ll definitely come back for the weather. Winter has always been a favorite season of mine. I’d also like to revisit N Seoul Tower, sadly, it was so foggy when we were there. The night market and the food trip. Also, there are a lot more places that I haven’t seen and visited yet.
Did this trip inspire you in anyway? How?
Yes. It inspired me to work smarter and harder for my dreams. It was in this trip that I witnessed the kind of happiness I rarely see from my mam. So, I’d like to earn enough and be the one to take her to different places.
Why do you think Filipinos should travel?
Filipinos should travel not just to unwind but to see for themselves what makes other countries so progressive. While in Korea, I observe a lot of things, but one thing I won’t forget is that the people are very disciplined. It’s one quality Filipinos should practice.
Any travel tips/hacks you’d like to share?
Always bring a travel adapter. You never know what kind of plug the country you’re going has. Also, always put your camera in automatic mode when you’re in a group tour for quick photos. Time is of the essence, hence manual mode will really mess you up, unless you’re a pro. Check your itinerary so you could properly plan for your outfits.
Why did you choose to #travelwithaccess?
I’ve known Access years before it got this big and recognized by huge celebrities. I inquired before (for my would have been Euro trip) and the one who entertained me was very patient with me. Honestly, for this trip, I didn’t inquire with Access right away. I looked for other agencies and did some comparisons, but I guess, people always come back to the best.
Any recommendations on how you think Access can improve to serve the Filipinos better?
Just make sure to always have the best and affordable travel offers.
What are the places in your travel bucket list?
I have always wanted to see Machu Picchu. It’s my Eiffel Tower to most people. I’m drawn to the Incas’ rich history and intelligence. Another would be the Swiss Alps. Why not see for myself the mountains Hannibal crossed.
