Day 01: Queenstown
Welcome to New Zealand! Upon arrival, meet and greet your local guide before being privately transferred to the hotel for check-in. Take your time to explore the fantastic city of Queenstown as the rest of the day is yours.
Day 02: Queenstown
After breakfast, explore historic Arrowtown and visit the bungy jump site for a thrilling experience that awaits you. Then, ride up a gondola to bring you to one of the most spectacular places in Queenstown, Bob’s Peak, for a panoramic view of the city. After that, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace and time.
Day 03: Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown
Begin the day with a drive to Fiordland National Park and enjoy the scenic views it offers, as it is one of the most dramatic and beautiful parts of New Zealand that never fails to enthrall travelers. After that, drive through Milford Sound and enjoy a scenic cruise, discovering its magical combination of mountain peaks, ink-dark waters, and superb, dramatic forest-clad cliffs. You don't want to miss this stop. Afterwards, head on over to Te Anau for overnight stay after the cruise.
Day 04: Te Anau - Wanaka - Mt. Cook
After breakfast, get ready for a mind-boggling experience as you proceed to Wanaka and visit the Puzzling World, an iconic, award-winning attraction that has fascinated people of all ages. Here, enjoy Wanaka’s wonderful world of weirdness. Afterwards, cross Lindis Pass to Mackenzie Country on Mt. Cook Village. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this magnificent area filled with fascinating sights that are a delight for all the senses.
Day 05: Mt. Cook - Lake Tekapo - Christchurch
After breakfast, enjoy the morning relaxing or taking an optional flightseeing. Then, proceed to the picture-perfect Lake Tekapo, known for its beautiful waters as well as its proximity to and access to the Southern Alps. Then, proceed to visit the Church of the Good Shepherd and Sheep Dog Monument, a statue near the church that serves as a tribute to the dogs used by Scottish shepherds during the 19th century. After that, descend the mountain range and cross the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch, where you will stay the night.
Day 06: Christchurch
After breakfast, visit Christchurch’s city highlights, including Mona Vale Gardens, Hagley Park, the Arts Center, the Central Business District, and Cardboard Cathedral. Then, spend some time taking in the sights of Cashmere Hills and the nearby Bridge of Remembrance. Today, you will also get the opportunity to visit the famous International Antarctic Centre for authentic, interactive fun that provides an exciting experience of Antarctica.
Day 07: Christchurch
The whole day is free for you to explore and enjoy the city of Christchurch at your own pace and time.
Day 08: Christchurch - Rotorua
After breakfast, proceed to the domestic airport for your flight to Rotorua. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and proceed to transfer to your hotel. Once settled, visit the Government Gardens with its iconic Tudor-style Bath House.
Day 09: Rotorua
Today, witness a farm show at Agrodome and take a visit to Te Puia Thermal Reserves to see geysers and bubbling mud pools. New Zealand is surrounded by hundreds of volcanoes, making it a perfect site to witness these spots. After that, proceed to Matamata and enjoy an adventure to Hobbiton, a movie set for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbits. Head back to the hotel to cap off a day full of new experiences.
Day 10: Rotorua - Waitomo - Auckland
After breakfast today, head to Waitomo to explore the ethereal glowworm caves. Here, take a boat ride underground to experience the wonders of thousands of tiny creatures that illuminate the cave roof above you like a star-studded sky. After the once-in-a-lifetime underground ride experience, proceed to Auckland.
Day 11: Auckland
The morning begins with a visit to Auckland City after breakfast. Get ready to discover its highlights, including the view of the Harbour Bridge, the Viaduct Basin, the Central Business District, Domain Park, Waterfront Drive, and Savage Memorial Park. Then, climb up the Sky Tower to take in panoramic 360-degree views in all directions stretching up to 80 kilometers. The rest of the day is free for you to go out and shop until your heart's content!
Day 12: Auckland
Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city of Auckland at your own time and leisure.
Day 13: Auckland
Today marks the end of your experience in New Zealand. After breakfast, prepare for your transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
