Day 01: Lima

Welcome to Lima! Upon arrival, meet and greet your local guide before being privately transferred to your hotel for check in and overnight stay.

Day 02: Lima - Larco Museum

Get to experience the beauty of modern and colonial parts of Lima today! Known as The City of Kings, the excursion begins in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, passing along a "huaca," or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. You'll be able to capture photographs of the spectacular colonial architecture around the Plaza de Armas as you stroll down some of the city's most important historical streets. You'll also get a unique opportunity to go inside a historic structure that has been a beacon in Lima for decades. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building in colonial style. Next, you'll proceed to the Larco Museum, where you can see the unparalleled Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection after exploring the Historical Center.

Day 03: Cusco

Today, take in the splendor of Cusco, a colonial city built on the ruins of incredible Inca structures. Get up close and feel the history as you visit the famous highlights Cusco is known for: the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Pedro Market, the Cathedral, and the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most spectacular architectural complexes created during Inca times.

Day 04: Maras - Misminay - Moray

Begin the day with a journey to the direction of the Maras salt mines, an incredible location where you will see how the best salt in the world is extracted: Maras salt. Along the way, stop at the Raqchi viewpoint for a breathtaking glimpse of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Take in the beauty that the sight has to offer. Then proceed to the Misminay community. The local community will greet you with music and traditional dances upon your arrival. You will also be able to learn about the lifestyle of the Andean families here by participating in some of their everyday activities for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Then you'll sit down to a wonderful and traditional meal made using locally sourced ingredients. Following that, you will go to Moray, a remarkable ancient site with massive concentric terraces that the Incas utilized as a botanical laboratory.

Day 05: Machu Picchu

Ready for today’s adventure? The day is dedicated for you to explore and visit one of the most important energy centers in the world: Machu Picchu. Enjoy this unforgettable experience with a professional local guide who will impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided experience is over, the rest of the time here is yours to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. Then, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip.

Day 06: Cusco

The day is yours to explore more about Cusco. Experience a day of unforgettable adventures as you explore picturesque landscapes, breathtaking views, quaint towns, and local wildlife. Vinicunca's Rainbow Mountain is not to be missed!

Day 07: Cusco - Puno

After breakfast, you'll board a bus in Cusco and make your way to the city of Puno, where your adventure will officially begin. As you ride the bus, take in the breathtaking views of Cusco's scenic southern valley. The first stop is at Andahuaylillas, home of a stunning church built in the 17th century and boasting a magnificent organ adorned with angels and cherubs. After then, discover the areas of the ruins at Racchi, also called the "Temple of Wiracocha." Refresh with a feast at a fantastic local buffet at a nearby restaurant. Then you'll head to Puca-Pucara, an ancient military outpost that doubled as a government administrative hub that you may now explore via archaeology. The Puno bus terminal will be your final stop. Upon your arrival, proceed to transfer to your hotel to check in and stay for the night.

Day 08: Puno - Copacabana - Sun Island

Today, prepare for your travel via bus from Puno to Copacabana. Take a stroll through town and see the famous Virgen Morena and the church. Then, take a boat ride to the Island of the Sun and disembark at Huacani Port. Recharge with a hearty Aptapi meal before making the journey back to the Pilko Kaina Ruins in the island's southernmost region via boat. From here, hike to your lodge, where you will check in and stay for the night.

Day 09: Sun Island - Moon Island - La Paz

Early in the morning, take in the breathtaking sunrise on the Island of the Sun! After seeing the dawn, hike down through Yumani, visiting the Inca stairs and the Water of Eternal Youth, before taking a boat ride to the Island of the Moon and the Inca ruins of Iak Uyu Temple to reach Copacabana. Enjoy the scenic drive to La Paz with spectacular views of the Andes Royal Range.

Day 10: La Paz

Discover the gems La Paz has to show you on this day. A "lustra bota," or shoe-shiner, will introduce you to La Paz and give you an insider's view of the most well-known neighborhoods and markets in the city. Then, meet your "Lustra guide" outside the former train terminal of La Paz before hopping on one of the many telefericos (cable cars) lines this vibrant city has. You may explore a wide variety of animals and cuisines at the "Fish Street Market," the "Flower Market," and the "Uruguay Market," all within a short walking distance of one another. Following the Cholitas Market, where indigenous women (known as Cholitas) may be seen shopping for traditional skirts and blankets, the excursion moves on to Eloy Salmón Street, which is lined with stores and kiosks offering the newest technology. At the end of this journey, stop by the famed witches' market at the intersection of Linares and Sagarnaga streets to gain some insight into Andean cosmovision.

Day 11: La Paz

The rest of the day is yours to explore La Paz on your own. You may take on several experiences, including visits to the city highlights and the Valley of the Moon, elected as one of the 7 Wonder Cities of the World and located in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range.

Day 12: La Paz - Uyuni

After breakfast, prepare for a morning flight from La Paz to Uyuni. Upon arrival, you have free time to explore this magnificent city at your leisure.

Day 13: Uyuni Salt Flats

Begin the day with a morning drive to the great salt flats. En route, visit the Train Cemetery to see the relics of steam locomotives from the 19th and 20th centuries.  Then, continue on to Colchani, where you can see the salt-making process in action.

After that, proceed to Incahuasi Island, also known as Fish Island, a location with a distinct and remote ecosystem home to enormous cacti that can reach heights of 10 meters. Pucara de Ayque, a pre-Columbian fort, is next, as are the nearby chullpas on the foothills of Thunupa volcano. After a full-day excursion, head back to Uyuni village.

Day 14: Uyuni - La Paz

After breakfast, you have the option to witness a spectacular sunrise on the Uyuni Salt Flats. Once there, enjoy the landscape full of peace, surrounded by water, salt, and especially the spectacular sunrise. Afterwards, prepare for a transfer to the airport for your flight back to La Paz.

Day 15: La Paz

Today marks the end of your wonderful experience in Peru and Bolivia. After breakfast, prepare for your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Manila.
