Day 01: Chitose – Sapporo
Welcome to Chitose! Upon arrival, meet and greet your local guide before being privately transferred to the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.
Day 02: Sapporo
Today, explore the richness and vibrant city of Sapporo! In the morning, pass by the uniquely designed Moerenuma Koen Park, a park covered in attractive green space, and the Sapporo Beer Museum, Japan’s only museum dedicated to beer. Then, continue on to the historical, open-air museum village of Aitaku-no-Mura. On this day, you will also explore the Susukino district, Japan's largest entertainment district north of Tokyo, before heading to Odori Park, which divides the city into north and south and features a month-long illumination of German-style Christmas lights. Here, enjoy the atmosphere of stalls selling Christmas items, hot wine, and German food.
Day 03: Sapporo – Otaru – Sapporo
After breakfast at the hotel, get to explore the city of Otaru, a small city with a European air and streets filled with shops, an old canal, and tiny museums. Three things Otaru is known for are their desserts, exquisite glassware, and beautiful music boxes, and you'll have the chance to explore this charming place starting with Shiroi Koibito Park, a chocolate entertainment park famous for chocolate cookies, a known souvenir from Hokkaido. Then, continue to the Kitaichi Glass Factory, where you can see craftsmen skillfully making glass merchandise that you can keep or buy. Afterwards, proceed to the Music Box Museum, where you’ll be able to find more than 25,000 music boxes in all shapes and sizes! Splurge yourself and visit the Tanukokoji Shopping District, one of the largest and most historic malls in Japan, before transferring back to the hotel.
Day 04: Sapporo – Noboribetsu – Sapporo
After breakfast, transfer to the city of Noboribetsu, an impressive volcanic site most famous for its hot springs and geysers. Afterwards, enjoy the sight of its well-known clock tower and old government building. Travel back in time and learn about the history of Japan during the Edo Period by visiting the Date Jidaimura. Then, experience walking amidst geysers in Jigokudani Hell’s Valley for a one-of-a-books adventure.
Day 05: Sapporo
Experience the thrill of a lifetime by enjoying a full-day pass to Sapporo Kokusai, where you will have free time to go on a thrilling skiing experience.
Day 06: Sapporo
This day marks the end of your beautiful Japan experience. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
