Day 01: Guayaquil
Welcome to Ecuador! Upon arrival, meet and greet your local guide before being privately transferred to the hotel for check in and overnight stay.
Day 02: Guayaquil - Galapagos
After breakfast, prepare for your transfer to the airport to take a domestic flight to the Galapagos. Take a ferry to Santa Cruz Island when you arrive on the tiny island of Baltra, which serves as the entrance to the Galapagos. After getting off the boat, drive to your secluded giant tortoise sanctuary to set up your tented camp. Your overnight lodging will be at the Magic Galapagos Tented Camp, which is perched high on a hillside with a view of the ocean. Take in the splendor of the Milky Way as your eternal nightlight, and enjoy the sounds of nature as your lullaby. Enjoy the calm and quiet of having the hillside to yourself and the local giant tortoises while gazing out at the mountains and forest that surround the resort. Enjoy a delicious supper while seeing a fantastic sunset. After dinner, take a stroll to the reserve's lava tubes for a nightcap in the unique "Lava Lounge" to make the most of the day. It's the ideal place to unwind by the fire and exchange a day's worth of adventure stories.
Day 03: Galapagos
Today, embark on an exploration of Puerto Ayora's Bay, beginning at the main dock and ending with a quick 10-minute navigation to La Loberia Island, named after a sea lion colony that lives there. This small island is a great place to snorkel amongst sea turtles and a great variety of colorful fish, as well as play with the ever-friendly and inquisitive sea lions. Then, trek the Tnel del Amor (lover's tunnel), which offers a magnificent perspective from which you may observe resting white-tip sharks if you're lucky. On the way back, visit Punta Estrada’s dock, where we’ll go on a walk to watch marine iguanas.
Day 04: Galapagos
Embark on a thrilling motor yacht and experience the remote islands of Ecuador today. This day is dedicated to your enjoyment of the Galapagos Islands. Visit North Seymour and Bachas, South Plazas, Santa De Island, or Bartolome and Sullivan Bay, according to the boat schedules allowed by the National Park. After that, drive to Puerto Ayora to spend the night.
Day 05: Galapagos - Lima
After breakfast, transfer to Baltra´s airport to board a connection flight to Lima, Peru.
Day 06: Lima - Larco Museum
Get to experience the beauty of modern and colonial parts of Lima today! Known as The City of Kings, the excursion begins in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, passing along a "huaca," or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. You'll be able to capture photographs of the spectacular colonial architecture around the Plaza de Armas as you stroll down some of the city's most important historical streets. You'll also get a unique opportunity to go inside a historic structure that has been a beacon in Lima for decades. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building in colonial style. Next, you'll proceed to the Larco Museum, where you can see the unparalleled Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection after exploring the Historical Center.
Day 07: Cusco
Today, take in the splendor of Cusco, a colonial city built on the ruins of incredible Inca structures. Get up close and feel the history as you visit the famous highlights Cusco is known for: the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Pedro Market, the Cathedral, and the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most spectacular architectural complexes created during Inca times.
Day 08: Maras - Misminay - Moray
Begin the day with a journey to the direction of the Maras salt mines, an incredible location where you will see how the best salt in the world is extracted: Maras salt. Along the way, stop at the Raqchi viewpoint for a breathtaking glimpse of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Take in the beauty that the sight has to offer. Then proceed to the Misminay community. The local community will greet you with music and traditional dances upon your arrival. You will also be able to learn about the lifestyle of the Andean families here by participating in some of their everyday activities for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Then you'll sit down to a wonderful and traditional meal made using locally sourced ingredients. Following that, you will go to Moray, a remarkable ancient site with massive concentric terraces that the Incas utilized as a botanical laboratory.
Day 09: Machu Picchu
Ready for today’s adventure? The day is dedicated for you to explore and visit one of the most important energy centers in the world: Machu Picchu. Enjoy this unforgettable experience with a professional local guide who will impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided experience is over, the rest of the time here is yours to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. Then, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip.
Day 10: Cusco
The day is yours to explore more about Cusco. Experience a day of unforgettable adventures as you explore picturesque landscapes, breathtaking views, quaint towns, and local wildlife. Vinicunca's Rainbow Mountain is not to be missed!
Day 11: Cusco
Today marks the end of your wonderful experience in Ecuador and Peru. After breakfast, prepare for your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima then to Manila.
