Afterwards, enjoy your photo stops at the iconic Sky Tree, Japan’s tallest building and one of the tallest in the world, which provides an incredible panoramic view of the metropolitan area. Afterwards, continue on to Ginza and enjoy some shopping in their brightly colored thoroughfare of food vendors and souvenir stores.
Day 03: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Gotemba - Tokyo
If the weather permits, this day’s Japan adventure will begin with a train ride to Fujinomiya 5th Station. Enjoy a scenic view of Mt. Fuji and take in the sights of this stunning landscape. Then, after having a real encounter with Mt. Fuji, head to Gotemba Factory, one of Japan's biggest shopping centers, for more shopping. We hope you are excited to visit this 290-store mall! Afterwards, proceed to check-in at your hotel in Tokyo.
Day 04: Tokyo - Osaka
Begin the day as you take a 4-hour Shinkansen ride to Osaka. Marvel at the scenic window view as you ride the famous bullet train.
Then, upon arrival, visit the five-story Osaka Castle. Here, discover one of Japan's most well-known sites while admiring the beautiful and intricately designed architecture. Enjoy your free time shopping in the Shinsaibashi area before checking in at the hotel.
Day 05: Osaka
Today, discover more of Japan’s gems as you visit Osaka Castle, one of the country’s most famous and impressive castles, as part of the day’s photo stop. Then, delight in the breathtaking vistas of Osaka from the top of the iconic Umeda Sky Building's observation deck.
After that, head to Kuromon Market for some of Japan's finest seafood and street food, and then take a Tombori River Boat to see the lively atmosphere of the streets of Minami, including Shinsaibashi and Namba, from the boat. Then, enjoy shopping in the Umeda district during your free time.
Day 06: Osaka – Kyoto – Nara – Osaka
The day begins as you travel to Todaiji Temple, the historical landmark of Nara that is home to one of the biggest bronze Buddha statues in Japan. Then, the journey continues to Nara Park, a 1,250-acre reserve that’s home to more than 1,000 free-roaming deer. In Japan, deer are considered messengers of the gods, so what could be more meaningful than seeing and feeding them in real life? We will not let you miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Then, after an interactive experience at the park, we will head to Kyoto to visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of vermilion torii gates. Then, continue to the 400-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Period. If time permits, you may proceed to the Geisha district of Gion before heading back to the hotel in Osaka.
